Introduction :
Mental problems are common in our society. According to the Hong Kong mental morbidity survey 2010-2013, the prevalence of common mental disorders among Chinese adults aged between 16 and 75 was 13.3% (Lam, Wong & Wang 2015). As a primary health care service provider, Mental problems could not be ignored
Objectives :
The STFA Leung Kau Hui Clinic (LKKC) had received and treated patient with common mental health problem since 2016. 2 nurse sessions per week and 2 doctor session per month. Thus, this service report reviews the cases managed at LKKC from 2019 to 2020. Additional analyses of the effectiveness of treatment interventions taken. Finally, recommendations and conclusions in this report address the findings and promote ideas that can be instituted to guarantee better patient outcomes in the future
Methodology :
For the two years, LKKC received 438 patients affected by different mental conditions. Since the facility only takes care of patients above the age of 18 years, four cases of minors are presented and are too included in this report's analysis. Notably, gender difference has significant difference on the in the prevalence of mental conditions. Females with mental conditions are the majority affected, with 326 cases, a much larger number than males with 112 cases.
Result & Outcome :
From the data, persons between the age of 18 and 65 are at high risk of suffering mental conditions. A total of 288 cases were fully treated and terminated, while at the point of writing this report, 150 active treatment cases were still ongoing. The education levels largely affected the prevalence of mental disorders treated at LKKC. Those without background education information had 13 cases, while patients who have attained primary education having 113. Two hundred forty-five patients taken in the facility had secondary education while 67 had tertiary education.

From the total number of cases registered at the clinic, the severity of most conditions was mild and moderate, with 182 and 152, respectively. With 70 normal cases and 34 mild cases, it is true to note that most patients were able to get advice and support. In such connection, increased the number of cases reported as normal to 86. In contrast, severe cases were reduced to 12, and moderate and mild cases were reduced to 54 and 136. From the record, it is evident that the clinic tried, however with 150 active cases and the numbers of mild cases remaining in hundreds, the numbers are still high as for continues drug treatment. Furthermore, some conditions were well addressed, with those with few reported cases all being treated successfully.

Recommendations of this clinical service review report:
Concerning the number of treated cases, this report finds that even though the number of cases treated is relatively good, it will be good to address individual illnesses with high pending or active cases. Cases of conditions like depression, anxiety, and mixed moods are relatively high compared with other illnesses, so the clinic should focus on making their treatment effectively shorter such as shorter follow up period. Currently patient follow up IMHP about 12 weeks for drug treatment. Relevant authorities and healthcare providers should join to campaign and educate society on reducing these problems affecting most patients.
Going with the data, which shows that 288 cases have been treated and 150 more pending in two years, it will be justified for LKKC to invest heavily in additional treatment capacity. If active cases that have not completed treatment in two years are 150, the number can double overtime, making it hard for the clinic to receive more patients. As a result, the focus should be directed to clearing the already active cases to free up space for future services.
