Introduction :
HA GO App and promulgation is required to facilitate its installation for patients and carers. There are various functions in the HA GO App which help patient's and carer's journey to be streamlined from in-hospital stay to out-patient follow-up. Especially older patients and their carers are not familiar with these functions. Currently, there is lack of comprehensive information for proper installation and utilization of HA GO functions.
Objectives :
To improve the workflow in the patient journey by using innovative method for the promotion of HA GO installation and utilization.
Methodology :
Develop promotional videos focusing on different functions in the HA GO app including "Easy Q, My Appointment, Pay HA, Book GOPC, Book HA Medication and Location Map". Through elaboration of different case scenarios from in-patient admissions to out-patient clinic visits, the smart usage of HA GO in the patient journey will be demonstrated. Promulgation via video playing can be adopted in HKEC i-display systems, waiting areas in SOPD and public areas in cluster hospitals to promote HA GO installation.
Result & Outcome :
Videos of introduction of various functions of the HA GO App has been demonstrated in "Joint Journal Club of Q&S and Innovation" on 22/7/2021 with topic namely "HKEC Smart Hospital Series: One Small Step for Man, One Giant Leap for HKEC" with positive feedback. Promulgation via video playing in HKEC i-display, SOPD and public areas, aiming to promote HA GO installation.
